The problem is that the technology has limits. The pilots are flying so high that they can't really be sure exactly what it is they are firing at and in war the object is to drop your payload on the enemy. The other problem with a war is that human error coupled with the limits of the technology often leads to deaths. The bottom line is that we either need to wage a full scale effort or get the hell out of there. There's no such thing as a victory gained in the half assed way this campaign is being waged. If we are going in there we ought to be doing it with overwhelming force, assets and numbers and we should expect that we will incur some losses. If the stakes are not high enough to justify a full scale effort and some casualties, then we ought not to be there in the first place. JLA
