I bought a monitor from UBID last week. It showed up UPS today.
What I bough was a refurbished Hitachi 20in Super Scan. I paid $350 for it.
Opened up the box and it was a very used monitor, built in 1991.
I couldn't sell this thing for $20 at the local flea market.
Called customer service at UBID. They told me there was a fine line between used and refurbished. I said "Lady, this thing is 8 YEARS OLD
and its been used every day of those 8 years!!!" She said they couldn't help me anyway cause the system was down. Three calls later I got a supervisor who gave me a return authorization number. I'll still have to eat the return shipping. Needless to say UBID won't see anymore of my business.
