QuentR: I took a peek at Thompson today and notice a large percentage of the action being tracked was institutional.

My bet is that there are probably a lot of potential retail buyers out there - waiting for confirmation that this is the bottom, but not sure. The buying is being done by professonals who are happy enough with these values and don't need to scrape for the best value.

Option expiry, nervousness about the earnings announcement and the forward guidance are wearing nerves.
