Customers let Etrade get away with it. Customers give up. Customers go to other brokers. They basically "chicken out" rather than facing down Etrade in a one-on-one battle. What's worse, online posts encourage disgruntled Etrade customers to switch brokers! Can you imagine that? Switch rather than fight? Apparently there are lots of "pink pussies" out there, because I see little online in the way of Etrade customers taking a stand against E*trade's obvious attempts at customer abuse. Ice
