Am I missing something?

Sam-

Here's to what I referred (from broadcast.com's front page):

>>
Microsoft Launches New Windows Media Player
Microsoft's new Windows Media 4 features dramatically improved audio and video quality. And broadcast.com has the best selection of content available to showcase the new player. Download the player now and then visit our Windows Media Player channel to see and hear the difference.
<<

The "Windows Media Player Channel" is located on broadcast.com. Maybe this is not a case of them presenting it as an end-all Player, and now that I think about it, it's pretty clear that Microsoft has coughed up some cash to get this kind of coverage. I just think it's notable that they are showcasing it like this. Anything for money. Could they also have agreed not to present such a showcase for Real's technology?
