I see what your saying and was aware that my post was over
simplistic, but I only have so much time..one thing about my
position; As simplistic as it was you didn't accept it..
you put me taking a side,
( that's exactly what NATO is doing wrong )

If they must get involved They should have taken the position that both the Serbs and the KLA back off...I thought I made that clear enough.

It's too much of a can of worms, and IMO the CIA helped set this
crap up.

I have worked with both Serbs and Croats and the stuff I read and
hear on the news does not match my experience not even close.

I've also known Americans from both areas for years, and even they
are confused so just were in the hell do all these experts
come from. There are a lot of immigrants from Yugoslavia in my
area and I have been close friends with a few for many many
years. ( on first name basis ) I'm telling you what the news
is giving us is a lot of emotionally charged sensationalism,
and the truth may not come to surface for years.

I'm sure some of the trouble has been instigated
and feelings inflamed by outside forces trying to exploit
any internal friction, in the early 90s I worked on a ship
that had both Serbs and Croats on board , they worked together
fairly good I did not understand why the pot was boiling over
in their country, So I talked with them ( a lot after all
we were on a ship & I had a lot of time,) bottom line was
THEY didn't understand it either and were much troubled
as it seemed to be against what and how they really felt
about one another, the whole thing had an insane mind of it's own,
it was not rooted in the people for them to hate one another
but all of a sudden we have every friging news man graduated to some expert and talking Ethic this an that like they really lived or
worked with any of them, ugh what a bunch of blood thirsty
vipers the news media is.

Well any way I now believe this pot was stirred all along, more
by instigators than meets the eye,
and the plan was to kill Yugoslavia as a country, or fix it
were every one in Europe could tell them what to do.
I see European countries had their fingers in the pot stirring
up trouble all along as well as the CIA.
It is very complicated and explaining it is even more so, and the
most difficult part is looking at the other European forces at
work; keeping in mind the Internal problems of Yugoslavia were
not just of their own making, EVERY major country in Europe
over the years always wanted to tell them how to live and they were most often caught in the middle, dammed either way they went.

Have you ever had someone play that on you, where you are a SOB
either way you go, and even if you don't go ,it's not nice is it.
The Yugoslavians have had to live with that for years and years.

------------------
History is full of instigators, even back to our own
Civil war, which was partly brought on by outside forces and
instigators & if you dig hard enough you can find it.
They hoped to see us kill one another off at least
to the extent that they could retake control.

To many historians just don't look around enough , and most have
over simplified history ( or re-wrote it ).History is re-written
all the time, it's not an easy subject..& no history
book ever tells the full story. When it comes to history
the truth and nothing but the truth can't be found,
at least I've never found it.
--------------------
None of this changes my mind about how NATO is wrong,
As an American citizen
I do not to my knowledge have to pledge allegiance to NATO,
or do we still have any rights at all.
At one time I was proud of NATO but it has now
clearly over stepped it's orginal mandate and purpose.
--------------------
What I think won't change much , it looks like we will bomb
whats left of Yogoslavia to pieces , we will show them, we
will kill every one of them if they don't listen, yes we will
flatten the country , bomb bomb bomb till there is nothing
left then what have we done and who is next ?
If we did not have the Guts and fortitude to go in there with
troops up front, and stop the KLA as well as the Serbs,
then this very tradgic situation is being made worse, not
better, if it goes like NATO plans in their short sightedness
the KLA will just take it as an OK from now on to do what they want to.
Make no mistake NATO just poured gas on a fire and the
The Kosovo Albainias are the pawns , the Serbs mostly victumes, & the Mujahedeen and other bandits will be the winners in this fiasco.
If you can't make it better then do nothing, making it worse
is pure stupid.
We will be victumes too, there goes the school money, & the
supposed budget surpuls , and here comes some more Nationl
debt. Lets hope the Ruskies will take the pay off and stay out,
so some Nukes don't get going, YA I see we paid them off just
today , but I doubt many people caught it.
news.bbc.co.uk
I saw this coming too.
You can bet it's got strings on it that says, don't help the
Serbs.
