James S I don't know how to responed to myself so this is not a reply to your last thread. I wanted to know if anyone had seen the coverage yesterday, on the Today Show or Good Morning America, of the new computers coming out. My daughter called me and mentioned that three companys were producing low cost computers with this new chip, (from another company) Cyrix name not mentioned. Intel was mentioned twice but never the "C" word. Does Intel have this strong of hold on the general public and can Cyrix break that hold? Any reply's would be appreciated. Scheb.
