Thanks for your insight.

My only question to you is regarding the management. I know the old CEO Franken??? is out, but what about the current management? The $1 billion in cash is nice, but what they use it on is the key. A specific example is the WordPerfect deal. I originally liked the fact they were challenging Microsoft, but their attempt was pretty lame. They need to focus on the facts you presented, which relate to their core business. In addition, they have to have vision, which I have not seen to date, to see where they can take themselves.

I believe NOVL has low downside risk and it intrigues me as a turnaround play. However, how long do you wait and when do we expect to see some changes that are evident. The $1 billion in cash provides several opporutnities. They sure plug a ton into R & D and get NEW PRODUCTS in the pipeline.

I thank you for your thoughts for they keep me fresh and help me to look at Novell in a different light. I will look into this more.

Thanks again,

Scott
