No one could push us around, I wasn't afraid of strangers, i could find things, lost toys or the way home. I tried to use this observation about myself when i was alone, to call that bravery up in myself, but it was no use. If i was alone, I was terrified; if i was responsible for my sister, I was almost fearless.
