Voltaire, I agree about a major announcement on the way. Again what persuaded me to buy AOL last Nov was SCase's management ability in getting AOL to what it was against all odds. Recollect in 1997 Barron's ( A.Abelson?)came out with a scathing article and AOL went from 75 to 35. Steve crawled with a vengeance. Bought NSCP and allied with SUNW. And then so many other deals. The guy is an exquisite businessman in the true color of dealmaker. He has a flair for the big.

So what could Steve do now that is big? On top of my list is a 1 to 1 merge with TimeWarner/Roadrunner. Time Warner can't go with ATHM because of antitrust reasons. So where is he going to go? YHOO wants to stay a portal. All other engines are gone except Altavista if I am correct.
