btw- i read part of the article and what i liked most is the # of shares short --30% of float, or 2.61M out of 7.70M. this tells me that if it opens somewhat low (up 5-10%), it should go much higher during the day. i don't know if i'll play it on any other condition.

biz.yahoo.com (profile + # shares short + float)
businessweek.com (latest, april 26 issue)

to add, what business week does is really bad. they write about stocks that can go up sharply at the open. few weeks or a year later they write about how high ("successful") their stock picks went so they can calculate (publicly) the success of Inside Wall Street (bw's weekly column). this tactic should backfire. in my case i don't respect their column anymore other than very short, few days, if i do play them at all. -- they open high and likely to cool as day traders search for the next hot one. only few get in at the low while the rest suffer. (not in all cases, of course).
