There is another press release today that was met with equal enthusiasm: opentext.com Canon Sales Brings Livelink Intranet to Japanese Businesses; First Document Management and Business Process Suite for Japanese Intranets Waterloo, Ont., February 27, 1997 - Canon Sales Co., Inc. of Tokyo, Japan today announced that they have completed localizing a Japanese version of Open Text Corporation's (OTEXF:Nasdaq) market leading Livelink Intranet suite of applications for document and business process management, and will begin marketing it immediately. In a news conference today in Tokyo, Canon Sales Co. Inc. announced that this Japanese version of Livelink, the latest new language version of Open Text's product, would fulfill a need for document and business process management in Japan's fast growing intranet market.
