Visx Fans,

This really is an incredible stock of a lifetime...

Concerning the patent issues the entire matter is a ridiculous moot point.

Visx is entitled to charge a per procedure fee on the lasers it markets. They have marketing expenses, upgrades, technology patents (theirs and others) built into the key cards, service, etc., etc., etc. IF AND I SAY IF (because I believe all VISX patents are enforceable) one or two patents were ruled invalid, it still wouldn't have anything to do with VISX ability to charge a fee as in the key card. Furthermore VISX has a vast portfolio of patents and these are but a few.

There will be challenges to "various" their patents over time but in the meantime what is happening to the LVC market....

How about explosion time USA! Who is the dominant player? Who's laser is becoming dominant in the marketplace? Who offers customer support second to none? Who is embarking on a multimillion dollar LVC awareness program to make the public aware of LVC? Who is offering continual upgrades to their exisiting Star2 laser (another one is shipping shortly)? Who has almost single handedly brought laser vision correction to the US mass marketplace....

VISX, VISX, VISX, VISX

This industry is here to stay. VISX is here to stay....10 billion dollar marketcap here we come....the writing is on the wall.
