Dennis, Haven't we been seeing a correction, albeit not in the heavily weighted major indexes, for some time now. The Russel is pounded. The A/D line has been depressed. A very few stocks, in relation to the overall big picture, have carried what seemed to be a continuing bull on it's upward path. The correction has been going on for some time, but it has been disguised by a few robust issues.
