Are Internet Stocks the embodiment of greed and stupidity? As I glance through all the articles on Net stocks and funds, 4 common themes emerge: "greed, greed, stupidity, and greed".

Like the WashPost article I just posted, where the fund manager refers to this runup as greed-driven. And take a look at my highly controversial "Internet Stock Naysayers" at netconductor.com

There I profile all the folks who have dismissed Net stocks for years and have mocked Internet investors. There are over a dozen quotes there mentioning either the word "greed" or how idiotic these investors are. In fact, MSNBC columnist Christopher Byron literally makes a living off doing this in his weekly columns.

Stupid and greedy. Internet investors are being portrayed as very one-sided characters - surely there's more to the story than this?
