Most Asian markets rally
as Hong Kong adds 4.4%

April 16 — Stocks rallied Friday in most key Asian-Pacific markets as Hong Kong stocks jumped 4.4% on a massive inflow of overseas funds. Meanwhile, Thai stocks rose 8.6% and Indonesian shares gained 7.1% with help from an improving regional economic outlook and foreign fund inflows.
