Bull -- I didn't say FLC was going to 20. I was just using that as an example number. However, with a given set of circumstances it could easily go to 20...as could GLM, RDC, NE, MRL etc etc.

This is not what would be regarded as "project financing" as it is not related to a "project".

I am sure it will leak out who this buyer is (I don't know if such things are kept secret or not). I mentioned in an ODB newsletter last fall that a "legendary" investor was interested in the oil patch. Now he's in.

As I said in the last ODB newsletter...FLC is either going to go screaming down in flames or will be the biggest success story in the history of the oil patch. Maybe not having to pay cash interest just buys them a little more waiting time and will therefore be viewed as a big plus from the perspective of the market. After all, what does it matter what something costs if you don't have any money anyway...and if you do have the money, it doesn't matter either. Either way, the boys at the top will have their job. (The same mgmt that led GLM in to bankruptcy in the 80's is still there -- excluding Bob Rose who is a new addition.)
