News Release
Mr M.L. Gallon reports
The company's exploration program continues to define large zones of gold
mineralization throughout its Diangounte West concession.
Grid 3
At grid 3 in the southwest portion of the property, the company has delineated
seven additional soil sample anomalies. Rock chip sampling along 1.4km exposed
a 15m wide quartz vein resulting in gold distribution along a strike length of 770m
at an average grade of 2.57 g/t Au. Trenching along the structure is planned.
Grid 2b
Base camp construction is nearing completion. A reverse circulation drill,
bulldozer, and six containers of field supplies have arrived on site. Drilling below
the exposed portion of the auriferous quartz ridge (grid 2b) will begin shortly. The
gold bearing structure composed of a quartz tourmaline rock invaded by quartz
veins, flooding and stockwork is exposed to a height of 17m along surface for a
strike length of 800m. Soil sampling has significantly extended the structure along
strike for an additional 2.4km to the northwest.
Previous reconnaissance of the southern portion of the concession has delineated
extensive quartz veining and stockwork systems. Exploration activities are now
focused on delineating their economic potential. A detailed soil sampling program
over 10 previously discovered soil anomalies in the northwest portion of the
concession (grid 1) has been completed. Assay results are pending.
