AL,

I'm not sure which analyst it was, but one of them alluded to the fact that since a mere 12% premium was paid for USRX that it set a precedent for deals to come. More specifically, it does not figure that companies like Shiva or Cascade, if they were acquired, would be acquired for large premiums. Makes intuitive sense. So does hanging on to a company that is capable of growing revenue by 30-40% when it trades at a 20-25X multiple (to '98 earnings).
