Anyone have any thoughts on the earnings report coming up. Nearly every company seems to sell of after it's respective earnings report. Given the huge selloff in just about everything software, here's what I'm thinking. Regardless of how the report looks, someone will find something negative, and investors and traders will que off of that. In my very cynical view, it seems that if the glass is 80% full, people will focus on the other 20%. If they report a fantastic quarter, the feeling will be, the glass is 98% full how can the company continue to do so well. My gut is telling me that some analyst would come out and say "well given the overall downturn in the software arena, we feel that ctxs will not be immune.... blah, blah, blah"
Looking to buy back in, but given the markets attitude towards anything software, and this short term gambling environment, I'm thinking of waiting? I was hoping to get some new thoughts or opinions on this.
