This is what I digged up: some sort of strategic alliance: APRIL 14 1999: BRAMPTON, CANADA--International Wallcoverings Ltd. announced today that it has entered into a letter of intent today with Blue Mountain Wallcoverings Inc. with respect to a proposed combination of their respective businesses. Completion of the proposed transaction is subject to mutual due diligence, regulatory approval and the satisfaction of certain other conditions. The letter of intent provides that the Company and Blue Mountain must enter into definitive agreements by the close of business on April 28, 1999 unless extended by mutual agreement. During this period of time, neither the Company nor Blue Mountain will engage in negotiations with third parties with respect to a purchase of or investment in the Company. Implementation of the proposed transaction would include, among other things, the approval of a plan of arrangement or compromise in the Company's ongoing Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act proceedings.
