I took profit on WGAT at $43.375. 40% in one day is really lucky. But I know I always sold too early. The problem with WGAT is that they can only sell their service to 2.7 million cable customers. How many of them going to use WGAT service? Say 10%. Then it give them 270,000 subs. That's their limit for growth. Unless they sign some contract with big cable firms to increase their possible sub base to 30 - 50 million, I don't see it will fly like AtHome. Still short AMTD. I expect all online brokers to go down. Back Jan. this year, the so-called American dream team --- YHOO, AMZN, EBAY --- peak right before YHOO's earning report. I expect the history to repeat itself (i.e., a 50% correction from their recent high) on those online brokers when their leader EGRP report earning next week. DLJ try to run up AMZN again. I wouldn't touch AMZN this time, at least for now.
Just my two cents.
