and thanks for G's satellite lives being 7 years rather than 5 Actually, I believe this is more of a case of Iridium being more conservative in its disclosures than Globalstar. If you want to make an investment decision based on expected satellite life, then you should look at the long term reliability of Motorola and Loral satellites already in orbit. Otherwise you're being swayed from misinformation. There is no reason to believe Iridium and Globalstar sats won't last 10 years.
