Excuse me but no one has ever challenged, less denied, the historical importance of Kosovo for the Serbs. What's at stake here is the ethnic breakdown of the Kosovo populace: 90% Albanian vs. 10% Serb.
If Kosovo was so important, historically speaking, for the Serbs then tell me how they ended up as a shrinking minority in this region?
Notwithstanding, as I said in a previous post, there's no question of letting Albanians depleting the Serbian legacy: Orthodox churches, monasteries, castles, etc. will be protected and Serbs will be granted safe access to them. Same as in Israel: Christians can fly over to Tel-Aviv and then tour the region to visit Jerusalem, Bethleem, you name it! Do the Christians intend to cleanse Palestine from both Arabs and Jews because, historically, it's a Christian Holy Soil?? |
