NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Commodore Applied Technologies Inc. (CXI) said the
report of independent accountants includes an explanatory paragraph stating
there are matters which "raise substantial doubt about the company's
ability to
continue as a going concern."

In a press release Thursday, the company said its 1999 forecasted
corporate
expenses are anticipated to exceed annual cash flows from operations by
about
$1.6 million. The company said it is hopeful that it will raise additional
financing in the near future.

Commodore Applied said it believes it has, as of Dec. 31, 1998,
sufficient
cash and cash equivalents ($1,798,000), and unused borrowing capacity
(about $1
million) to fund ongoing activities through the end of 1999.

Commodore Applied Technologies develops projects and commercializes
services
in the nuclear and radioactive mixed waste, Department of Energy markets.
