This is some old info,but note that this company has earnings etc and probably will rebound.

SARASOTA, Fla., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Riscorp Inc announced today that A.M. Best Co. has
assigned an initial Financial Performance Rating (FPR) of 4 (Average) to RISCORP Insurance
Company and its affiliate, RISCORP Property & Casualty Insurance Company, which operate
together as a pooled entity.

In assigning the initial rating, A.M. Best stated that the group's FPR will remain under review pending
the outcome of the company's review of its strategic options and any material developments or
resolution of legal proceedings. It stated that it expects to remove RISCORP from under review
once these issues are satisfactorily addressed, and assign a letter rating to the group in early 1997.

The new group rating of 4 is A.M. Best's highest "Vulnerable" FPR. Previously, RISCORP Property
& Casualty Insurance Company was the only RISCORP entity rated by A.M. Best and was
assigned a FPR of 5 (Average).
