Welcome aboard.
Many Deswell investors wishing they could be entering at this level.

VP at my bank tells me he's been buying. I brought it up to him when it dropped to 6.00 (I was transferring cash to buy). He didn't get to it quick enough but continued to follow. Bought at $11+ and again in the 8's. He's conservative - thinks like a banker - and was impressed by the financials, but mainly by the dividend return. His feelings are similar to mine about Deswell being position to take advantage of the 'Asian Crisis' and resuming growth over the next few years. He's in it for the probable dividend growth in coming years.

I can see only one reason Jetcrown would be buying to new mold machines at a cost of $700K and signing a lease on an additional 20,000 SF - Management sees high order visibility going forward. I think this might explain why they haven't been more aggressive buying back shares - may need the cash for expansion and working capital requirements of increased business.
