True, it's been somewhat restrained so far to say the least, but the brakes will hopefully be taken off soon.

CLARIFICATION ON CHALLANA:

Joe Wojcik offered clarification on the Challana adit. It is true that a fault was reached. However, the paystreak wasn't lost. They have to dig down to regain the paystreak but the project is still intact. Sorry if I mislead anyone. Just didn't have the interpretation straight (I'm no miner obviously...).

Joe's latest (he works 80 hours per month for SUNR):

African Resources Inc. Signs Geologist Team For Major Site Valuation
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 4, 1999--African Resources Inc. (OTC
BB: AFRI) announced today plans to send geologist Joseph R. Wojcik to
Guinea, West Africa for survey and evaluation of the company's Konkure
River Project.

Wojcik, a geology graduate from Ohio State University, has been in the
mineral industry for over 40 years and is recognized worldwide as
knowledgeable regarding the occurrence, evaluating, and recovery of
products from alluvial deposits especially with dredging technology.

Rick Brodzik, CEO of AFRI commented, ''Based on existing Guinea
government geologist evaluations, we feel our 20-mile concession of
the Konkure River in Guinea is one of the richest finds of mineral
deposits in West Africa. In addition, we have an option on another
13-mile alluvial concession on the Dinguaye River in Toague, Guinea.
We are very excited to have Mr. Joseph Wojcik, who in our opinion is
one of the best geologist in his field, travel to Guinea to verify and
update existing assessments of these properties.''

African Resources is a natural resource development and mining company
with diamond and gold concessions in Africa and operating gold mines
in the U.S. The company is also currently engaged in various
acquisitions and fundraising phases including negotiations to own
licenses to market two proprietary mining technologies.
