Donnie, I'm not the kind to repeat rumours, so listen closely the first time! I hear that the Fidelity Magellan Fund has decided that it has a lot of profits in tech and Y2K is an unknown variable, so they are moving out of anything technical and into paper and metals until the next millenium. There are a lot of me too fund managers that are following or thinking of following. I.e. move into something that can't possibly be affected by Y2K (except maybe the born-on date on the bottom of the can). I've been told it can take up to 30 days to move that much money around.
