Once again, I was making no accusation. You ask what reason a company would give shares to someone. There are many:

Maybe as a finder's fee for hooking them up with an IR company.

There are people right here on SI that have received free shares simply for posting on a thread.

Various "services rendered".

Hell, I received some free shares (another stock) simply for participating in a share count.

Again, I did not accuse Marc of anything. I simply asked a question.
