Any nets I sell will go into csco.

The way I take your above statement is that you think the nets will take a dive short term. As I am absolutely with you on Cisco I reserve my opinion on the nets.

In the last few weeks, I have been talking to VC executives as well as executives of ocuple of well known startups such as Sonus, Salix, Shasta, Argon, & e.Fusion. A common view is that everyone is betting on the new apps on the internet (or intranet/extranet) will change human being's behaviors which will generate multiple times of demands on the network equipment whether it's backbone or edge devices, VoIP, packtetized telephony. No to mention products and services are directly related to the nets. It will be just like how PCs changed our behaviors in the work place and homes. The entire world commerce will be evolved around the nets. So if you are a long term investor, do not ever discount the nets in the next ten years given the understanding that it is a volatile sector and you will see large numbers of up and downs.
