The fact that perhaps no one lost huge sums and no has to live in the woods is not germane.
To use the fire in a movie scenero:
He yells FIRE! every one panics and runs out,, but no one is trampled to death.. Is there no crime simply because no one dies.
Or He yells FIRE! and 5 people die .. is there a crime. Some are saying no , because his iintent was not to cause a death or injury. Maybe he just wanted a seat and they were all full.
If we do not stop people from yelling FIRE for the fun of it.. someone will get trampled.
If we do not stop people from posting false and Fraudulent press releases,, someone will get hurt , and hurt big time.
His intent may not have been to cause a loss/death, but when you run 50 miles an hour down a street your intent may not be to cause an accident,, but you are being reckless and negligent and if we don't stop you ,, youwill cause an accident sometime.
By the way ,, I MADE money on the whole deal because of the people here on the thread. i bought early in the AM and when the posts turned sour ,, I sold out for a profit so I am not complaining about that. Someone had to lose so that I could come out on top.
