El, We were at the same point last year and got out of it. Last year there was little hope of getting on track until the 4th quarter. Compaq may look good as all the money rushes out of other stocks in the market. Anything can happen. I do share your concerns. At least we did not loose anything today. I-Watch showed institutional buying interest at 52M, selling at around 16M with about 5M ending up in the volume. Looked like institutional buying participated in a very small short rally from 10 to 10:30 when the stock went from 23 3/8 to 23 3/4, and buyer interest was bidding up. thomsoninvest.net
