Are you using brokers that offer direct access or are they handling your executions for you? It sounds like you're using traditional on-line brokers and that's probably why you're having frustrations with trade reporting. When you deal directly with the market you get immediate reports on executed orders. If you don't have access to ECNs and market makers directly you're missing out, especially ECNs because they give the individual investor the ability to play like a market maker by posting orders on level II.
