The test mining procedure involves excavating the clay material and placing this material into the first stage extraction process. The first stage soaks the clay material breaking down the clay into a paste or slurry. The second stage separates large rocks, boulders and large clay lumps. The boulder rejects are examined continuously for rocks that may be embedded with precious stones. Additional water is added in this second stage. A Trommel screen (2" minus) allows the slurry mix to pass through into a slurry pit and removes boulders, rocks and large clay lumps.

I'm kind of new over here but... ummmmm, what kind of gems are found in clay? Clay is a sedimentary product and most gem stones are igneous or metamorphic. Has anybody reported what gems are being mined?
