Lost the modem on my tower to lighting this afternoon. The telephone wire is routed through a surge protector. I was on line when it happened. Nice crack and spark action. Made me jump. Now I know what happened to the old modem, and why it was burned out. The surge protector doesn't work for the telephone line. Now I need to replace the surge protector and the modem.

Also had to deal with the taxes. Option trading lead to many entries. I did make a buck but I should hold down that activity this year given my current positions.<g>
