The Vancouver Stock Exchange has accepted for filing an agreement dated
Feb. 12, 1999, between Major General Resources and Newfoundland Mining &
Exploration Ltd. (John Tuach, Brian Grant, the optionor) whereby the
company acquires a 100 per cent interest in mineral claim licences (4105,
4420, 4421, 4422, 4567, 4568 and 4775M) in the Green Bay property area of
Central Newfoundland. In consideration, the company will issue 87,500
shares and 87,500 warrants with each warrant entitling the optionor to
purchase an additional share at 35 cents in the first year and at 40 cents
in the second.
The property is subject to a 1 per cent net smelter return retained by the
optionor.
