Sometimes I feel the military is eager for an excuse to try out all those sophisticated weapons. Clinton's motives in this affair are very suspect also (hey Iraq boosted Bush's ratings).

US society contains enough rapists and murderers and others who would commit atrocities if let loose in a war situation. But us Americans don't seem to be able to empathize with all the innocent Serbs whose country is being totally destroyed and who live with the constant threat of having some remote controlled missile or bomb blowing away them or their families.
