Look, Dan, I never intended to insult anybody. I took the "planet Venus" thing at flat face value, and was trying to visualize the situation. Now I usually only see the planet at or around sunset. Thus the thing about glare. Since you were in the high north, I guessed at the northerly-westerly direction. I further took a wild guess at wind direction. Not once did I seek to discredit or belittle your story, and I really don't know what I did to generate that impression. I wasn't saying "Nonsense" for one second. I was saying "Wow. Good tale. Rings true, Tell me more!" I was engaging in friendly small talk. I don't know how a friendly chat turned frosty so fast. Everybody else (except maybe Father Terrence) has been very nice to me here. One moment I'm a regular guy and the next I'm an armchair whiner. My feelings? They're hurt, and you can take that to the bank.
