I can only guess that people see the current price of the stock as a bargain considering that the company is now getting back on its feet with the lawsuits behind them. Considering that last part, MFN is even more likely to find a buyer. They were on the auction block more than a year ago - but no one would touch them with a 10-foot pole. I'm trying to determine just how clean has their slate been wiped....
This stock was at 4 cents in late Dec/early January - and I wish I would've loaded up then. But they were still in the throes of bankruptcy proceedings.
If anyone finds articles in Illinois newspapers that would be helpful. That's the state of their headquarters. I think they're fairly near Chicago.
My hope is that this stock will once again see $1. It will be very interesting to see what their first quarter, and especially their 2Q numbers are after all this mess is behind them.
