Demand for Microphonics' A-07 and 111RCK leads to profitable 1st qtr, 1999.
NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 16, 1999-
-Microphonics (OTC BB: MRPS - news) today announced a profitable 1st Qtr, 1999 and, with just the current contracts in place, are assured of a profitable 1999. We are also presently in final negotiations with (#?)companies for additional sales of our A-07 and 111RCK doodad. Our agreements with Bulova and ???? provide for the manufacturing of( #?) units per month which will meet expected demand. Additional capacity is available as needed.
Fully audited numbers for Qtr1,1999 and fiscal year 1998 will be available soon after submission to Standard and Poors the week of April 19th. We anticipate gaining a listing on the NASDAQ as soon as all forms(form 10?)are approved.
Despite contract order deliveries only starting in just the latter part of the quarter, we were able to exceed forecasted sales of our Ultrasonic blah, blah,blah. Demand is growing at a dizzying pace as manufacturers such as GM(hotlink), Ford(hotlink), and many others realize the significant cost savings and efficiencies achieved with our blah blah blah..
