Yes, you're right. Tractors have been used extensively to transport the deportees' possessions, but this was a column of heavy vehicles. I did say vehicle columns, not armored columns. By all accounts that 2000 lb. bomb went into the hood of the lead vehicle in that column, a heavy duty truck. Also, according to most sources, NATO aircraft are remaining above 12,000 ft. for most missions.

As far as reports on the Serbs stupidity, that's a matter for conjecture, but it seems amazing to me that one errant strike by a NATO aircraft could produce so many casualties while according to Serbian media, the thousands of intended strikes against Serbian forces have only resulted in property damage to orphanages and hospitals. Go figure.

Truth be known, if one strike against one convoy can produce that many casualties something tells me that roll call for some Serbian military units isn't taking as long as it did a few weeks ago. Milosevic could be having second thoughts about Ramboulliet, but to tell the truth it's far too late to even consider the terms offered there.
