To Michael Greene, reply # 564 - Network Computers will start shipping towards the end of 1997. The volume will eventually be big. But, WIND will not be part of the NC offering in the first release. The NC software stack is now based on RiscBSD. I think the announced plan is that WIND will be part of a later release sometime in the future. Maybe Oracle/NCI or WIND could provide some insight on if this is still the plan and an estimate for when it would happen. Don
