Just updated my site - coolhistory.com. Here are some observations to chew on:

The top performing sectors this week were Energy, Capital Goods, and Basic Materials. These are the sectors that are supposed to perform well just before the market starts declining (according to Sam Stovall's Sector Rotation theory).

The technology sector is actually unchanged for the past 3 months - been a while since that's happened (last June).

The S&P 500 and the NYSE Composite declined this week, yet the Advance-Decline line moved higher. The NASDAQ Composite had a mini-meltdown, yet the NASDAQ's Advance-Decline line hung tough.

The Russell 2000 staged a major comeback last week - which probably explains the A-D Line behavior...

All-in-all, some fairly dramatic changes underway right now. I have a feeling the fun is just beginning.
