Glenn,

My understanding is that, all these analysts are hinting that except the top tier Net leaders, namely AOL, AMZN, YHOO, NSOL, CNET, EGRP, etc., the rest of the net stocks will suffer fairly severe downturn in the near future. Even the leaders will have some drops, but they will recover quickly. I think the obvious ones that are quickly losing the Street favor are, SEEK, ONSL, UBID, COOL, EGGS. What's interesting is a group of notable stocks, such as CMGI, LCOS, EBAY, ATHM, NTBK, INKT, DCLK, AMTD, etc. All these are quality Net stocks, but to me every one of them has some issues hanging over their heads, therefore which way their prices could go in the next couple months is uncertain. With the uncertainty like this, I think the analysts are encouraging us only buying the Net leaders as a defensive strategy. I actually think that some Net leaders will make new highs in the coming weeks, AMZN is definitely one of them. I see AMZN trades above $200 first thing Monday morning, and hopefully finishes above that if the whole market cooperates in the late afternoon.
