Mark, Thanks for those very informative posts. No, Paul Fox wasn't at the '98 Diskcon Wall Street Perspective. Those who were: Dean, van Bronkhorst, Munson, Bakar and Specker - that may help you. As I recall most panel members, if not all, discounted any market effect due to Y2K. Hey, but that was Nov. '98. As late as the IDEMA February dinner meeting where Bakar talked, he was still discounting any impact to the market as a result of Y2K issues. He is one predicting a solid year end with a good December quarter. It seems every time you find an analyst or company being cautious about the end-end you find another being very optimistic. Hard to make informed investment decisions!! Guess you'll have to go with your well honed instincts. It would be interested to hear other views from the followers of this thread. Regards, LT
