I think technologies that have fences around them cannot multiply fast enough on the wide open prairies of the "Internet World" to keep up, dominate, and become ubiquitous. 2) I think Fibre Channel will take off next year. As Fibre Channel interoperability improves, at some point the economies of scale on production, will drive the price down to the point where it will explode onto "the scene" of the average-Joe. My fingers are crossed waiting for something to happen here. I hope I am right. Joe W.
