Then key!

re:EMC still has a ways to run, this is a complex topic and the EMC folks are great at PR. I have known some of the principal players there for a long time and they could charm the numbers off a gold watch.

With all due respect. SO!

Come on rudedog, I could give two shits who you know, that's yesterday.

The real augment is can DELL do to storage what it has done to PCs. And yes you hit it when you said complex. DELL must move beyond the toy (PC) to being a computer company! Frankly, all I see out of DELL is a manufacturing delivery power house to date, which has severed them well up to now, but now they need to move beyond this, and push the envelop, and defined and lead! One can say software drives the industry, I beg the differ, it's plate form that enables the enterprise to perform and storage should be the Trojan horse for DELL.

p.s. re: EMC is weaker in its software offerings than either CPQ or IBM,

Say that to the EMC holders. Please educate me on this.

Thanks you, you are gentleman and a scholar rudedog thanks for taking the time to inform me.
