Well, Vitas

Having been distracted by other issues for the last couple of months (as eating is a hard habit to break), I've spent the last couple of days flipping through the weekly, daily and 60-min charts of the Big Boyz. One point that Jim Hopkins and I share is that when the tail is wagging the dog, it is cause for concern. When I see the averages up and the money flowing out of the Big Boyz, all sorts of red flags go up!

I look at the market as a four-legged stool -- Retail (WMT), Drugs (take your pick), Financials (I use C), and Technology (I watch INTC and DELL). They all got crushed this week! OEX is sitting at a critical point. It had broken above a long-term clearly defined trend line. I show it sitting right on it (at resistance). No, while this market may well go higher, it is toast!

My review of the Big Boyz provides me with an almost equal number of shorts vs. longs. I probably won't start playing again until Tuesday, and I'll make my decision then which way I go.

And that is my view of the market from the swamp. So, what is yours?

Berney
