I recently installed Windows NT 4.0 Beta on my system and beleive me it is slower than Windows95 i.e. it is a memory hog. It is much more robust than Windows95 but more processes are running in the background in memory to acheive this robustness. I think 32MB will be the minimum standard for NT Desktops. I have 24MB and it is slow.
I hope this is very positive for the memory industry and for Micron as
32MB standard Desktops are not far away. Also the high end servers would run with mimimum 64MB. As soon as NT is released we will see the dramatic increase in memory demand.
Hope this works out well for Micron in the long run

Long on Micron
